• Small Business Enterprise (SB) Classification:   As a Small Business Enterprise, we are independently owned and operated, ensuring personalized attention to your unique requirements. We are not      dominant in our field of operation, allowing us to offer specialized services tailored to your needs while meeting all government contract criteria and size standards listed in 13 CFR Part 121.

• Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Status:   EPIC Veterans proudly holds the designation of a Veteran-Owned Small Business, with at least 51% ownership by one or more veterans, including myself. This status not only reflects our commitment to serving our nation but also ensures that our management and daily operations are led by veterans who understand your challenges and priorities firsthand.

• Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Certification:   As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, we bring a unique perspective and unwavering determination to every project. Our service-related disability designation by the Department of Veteran's Affairs underscores our resilience and dedication to overcoming obstacles, ensuring that we deliver exceptional results, no matter the challenge.

• Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Certification Program:   The Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Certification Program is one of two SBA programs targeted towards providing business assistance to small disadvantaged businesses. SDB certification pertains specifically to federal procurement. SDB firms are eligible for special bidding benefits. SDBs are small businesses that are at least 51% owned and controlled by “socially and economically disadvantaged” individuals or groups (groups include recognized Indian tribes, Alaska Native Corporations, Community Development Corporations, and Native Hawaiian Organizations) and meet criteria described in Small Business Administration (SBA) regulations at 13 C.F.R. §124.100

• · HUBZone Empowerment Program:   The Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program provides federal opportunities for small business concerns located in economically distressed communities in order to increase employment opportunities, stimulate capital investments in those areas, and empower communities through economic leveraging. A HUBZone business is a qualified small business concern located in historically under-utilized business zones that are in an area located within one or more qualified census tracts, a qualified non-metropolitan county, or lands within external boundaries of an Indian reservation.   

          To be a HUBZone company, a business must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a small business in accordance with SBA standards
• Must be owned or controlled at least 51% by US citizens (or a Community Development Corporation or an Indian Tribe)
• Principal office must be located within a HUBZone
• At least 35% of its employees must reside in a HUBZone

• 8(a) Business Development Program:   An 8(a) firm is a small business concern participating in SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program. EPIC Veteran is owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Businesses that participate in the program receive training and technical assistance designed to strengthen their ability to compete effectively in the American economy.

• Diverse Business Certifications:   EPIC Veterans is dedicated to expanding its certification portfolio, currently holding several certifications while actively pursuing additional ones. Among these are the prestigious designations of Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), which serve as tangible evidence of our steadfast commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within our operations. These certifications not only underscore our dedication to equitable business practices but also highlight our capability to cater to the unique needs of a diverse clientele.
